About The Position

Group Facilitator is responsible for the delivery of RCA Substance Abuse
curriculum for patients in our detox and residential recovery program. The
curriculum will be provided for the facilitator to ensure quality and
consistency in its delivery. The facilitator will be responsible for 15-20
1-hour groups per week. The facilitator will also be required to attend staff
meetings, trainings and other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High School Diploma, bachelor's degree preferred
• 6 months related experience, preferably in a residential setting, providing group-based care and/or with a substance use disordered population
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills required.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize workload and meet deadlines.
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with demonstrated ability to juggle multiple competing tasks and demands.
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills
• Customer Service: Demonstrates concern for meeting internal and external patient needs in a manner that provides satisfaction for the patient within the resources that can be made available.
• Impact and Influence: Works effectively with and through others including those whom there is no formal authority over
• Communication: Communicates well both verbally and in writing, creates accurate and punctual reports, delivers presentations, shares information and ideas with others, has good listening skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure that life skills and educational groups are delivered professionally and effectively to meet desired learning objectives.
• Engage with the recovery community in a culturally competent way, in and outside the group setting.
• Complete 15-25 groups per week with group notes and all other paperwork as assigned per policy.
• Perform any other job-related duties as assigned.
