About The Position

REACH is seeking a compassionate, organized Group Home Manager to oversee daily operations, staff, and resident care within an assisted living home supporting individuals with developmental disabilities. This role is ideal for someone with strong leadership experience in caregiving, disability services, or residential programs. What You’ll Do • Hire, train, schedule, and supervise Direct Service Professionals (DSPs) • Ensure residents’ daily living needs, health, and safety are met • Maintain compliance with state licensing and agency standards • Oversee home budgets, supplies, and required documentation • Collaborate with guardians, healthcare providers, and interdisciplinary teams • Foster a positive, team-oriented environment • Participate in program management, meetings, and professional development • Provide hands-on support when needed, including assistance with personal care Who This Role Is Great For • Experienced supervisors in caregiving or disability services • DSPs or Lead Staff ready to take the next step into management • Individuals with strong organizational and leadership skills • Those passionate about creating safe, supportive living environments

Requirements

  • Must be at least 21 years old
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Minimum 2 years of experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities
  • Valid Alaska Driver’s License, clean driving record, and proof of auto insurance
  • Must pass background check
  • CPR, First Aid, and TB clearance required within 30 days of hire

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in human services, psychology, education, or related field preferred
  • Supervisory experience preferred
