Position Summary: We have an immediate opening for a Group Managing Director (GMD), a senior leadership role within our Account Leadership team. This role is responsible for overseeing multiple strategic client accounts, driving enterprise-wide value creation, and ensuring consistent delivery of LogicSource’s procurement transformation capabilities across a portfolio of clients. The GMD will lead a team of Managing Directors and Account Leaders, with full accountability for relationship management, service delivery, financial performance, and growth across multiple client engagements. This includes oversight of significant aggregate client spend, ensuring value capture, account expansion, and operational excellence across all programs. In this capacity, the GMD will establish scalable governance structures, drive cross-account best practice sharing, and ensure achievement of aggressive category management, transformation, and savings objectives across the portfolio. The GMD will act as a senior strategic advisor to executive client stakeholders and will play a critical role in shaping LogicSource’s broader client strategy and offerings. This position reports directly to senior executive leadership within LogicSource.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required; master’s degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 15+ years of progressive leadership experience in strategic sourcing, procurement, or related fields.
  • Demonstrated experience managing multiple large-scale client accounts or portfolios.
  • Strong financial acumen with experience managing complex, multi-account P&Ls.
  • Proven track record of driving growth, transformation, and long-term client relationships.
  • Executive presence with the ability to influence senior stakeholders across multiple organizations.
  • Experience leading and developing senior leaders and high-performing teams.
  • Strong problem-solving, strategic thinking, and decision-making capabilities.
  • Demonstrated ability to operate effectively at both strategic and tactical levels.
  • Travel: This role requires regular travel to client locations as needed to support business objectives, team leadership, and client engagement

Responsibilities

  • Portfolio Leadership & Strategy
  • Provide executive oversight across multiple client accounts, ensuring consistent delivery of value, operational excellence, and client satisfaction.
  • Own and manage the aggregate P&L across a portfolio of accounts, including revenue growth, margin expansion, and cost management.
  • Define and execute multi-account strategies that align with LogicSource’s long-term growth objectives.
  • Identify cross-account opportunities for scale, innovation, and capability development.
  • Client Relationship Management
  • Establish and maintain executive-level relationships (including C-suite) across multiple client organizations.
  • Serve as a trusted strategic advisor, influencing enterprise-wide procurement and operational transformation initiatives.
  • Ensure strong client advocacy and satisfaction across all engagements.
  • Lead escalation management and ensure rapid resolution of complex client challenges.
  • Delivery Excellence
  • Oversee delivery and quality across all workstreams and accounts, ensuring commitments are consistently met or exceeded.
  • Standardize best practices, tools, and methodologies across accounts to drive scalable and repeatable success.
  • Ensure achievement of category management plans, savings targets, and operational transformation goals across all engagements.
  • Partner with Center of Excellence (COE) teams to drive innovation, insights, and value delivery.
  • Growth & Commercial Leadership
  • Drive portfolio-wide growth through upselling, cross-sell, and expansion opportunities.
  • Develop and execute strategies to exceed revenue targets across all managed accounts.
  • Identify new business opportunities within existing clients and contribute to broader business development efforts.
  • Shape and influence new offerings, capabilities, and solutions based on client needs and market trends.
  • Governance & Transformation
  • Establish and oversee governance structures across multiple accounts to ensure alignment, accountability, and performance tracking.
  • Drive large-scale procurement transformation initiatives across client organizations.
  • Lead change management efforts to enable adoption of mature procurement models and behaviors.
  • Ensure consistent reporting, performance measurement, and executive-level communication across the portfolio.
  • Team Leadership & Development
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Managing Directors and senior account leaders.
  • Build a high-performing, scalable organization that delivers both operational excellence and employee engagement.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Ensure alignment of resources and talent to meet evolving client and business needs.
