Four Seasons Hotel Boston is looking for a Group Sales Manager who shares our passion for excellence and is enthusiastic about joining our dynamic Marketing & Sales team. The Group Sales Manager is an integral part of Hotel management who is responsible for attainment of assigned room and banquet sales goals that contribute to the overall performance of the hotel. The Group Sales Manager is responsible for uncovering and negotiating volume event business through B2B channels by developing effective sales strategies to counter the competition, developing valuable business leadership that results in additional sales and new customers, and actively soliciting new business and responding to inquiries with the intention of confirming profitable business with a wide range of clients. The ideal candidate is passionate about Boston as a destination, can work independently to solicit and follow leads to an ultimate sale with a high level of detail, creativity, and awareness of both customer and property requirements. Successful candidate will have the ability to handle multiple tasks and make decisions in a fast-paced client driven environment in a luxury environment. Previous experience in operations (rooms, banquets) is a benefit. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a high-performing team with multiple brand sales winners and experienced leadership.
