About The Position

Four Seasons Hotel Nashville is seeking a driven and relationship‑focused Group Sales Manager to generate group business and support revenue growth for the hotel. This role plays a key part in building and maintaining client relationships, securing group bookings, and ensuring a seamless guest experience from initial inquiry to final execution—all while upholding Four Seasons’ renowned standards of service and luxury.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Business, Marketing, or related field; equivalent hotel sales experience accepted.
  • 2–4 years of experience in group sales within a luxury hotel environment.
  • Strong negotiation skills and proven ability to generate leads and close group business.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation abilities.
  • Proficiency in Delphi and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong command of written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

  • Identify, solicit, and manage prospective group sales leads—including corporate, association, and social groups—while cultivating strong relationships through ongoing communication, site visits, and client entertainment.
  • Develop customized proposals and negotiate group contracts to meet client needs while ensuring alignment with hotel standards and revenue goals.
  • Manage the full lifecycle of group bookings from inquiry to execution, including room blocks, timelines, and special requests, and ensure all details are communicated clearly to relevant hotel departments.
  • Collaborate with the Director of Sales and Revenue Management teams to develop, refine, and execute strategies that maximize group revenue and market share.
  • Maintain accurate client records, booking details, and contracts within the hotel’s sales system; prepare and present sales reports, forecasts, and market analyses for leadership review.
  • Assist with physical event setups, departmental projects, special initiatives, and broader Sales & Marketing support as needed.
