About the position

We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Group Sales Manager to lead our sales efforts in the SMERF (Social, Military, Educational, Religious, and Fraternal) market segment. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sales management and a deep understanding of the unique needs of SMERF clients. This role requires strong leadership skills, strategic thinking, and the ability to build lasting relationships with clients.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue targets within the SMERF market segment.
  • Lead and mentor a team of sales professionals, providing guidance and support to enhance performance.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders in the SMERF sector.
  • Conduct market research to identify trends and opportunities for growth within the SMERF market.
  • Collaborate with marketing and operations teams to create tailored solutions for clients.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in sales management, preferably in the hospitality or event planning industry.
  • Strong understanding of the SMERF market and its unique requirements.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to lead and motivate a sales team.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
