Program Quality Manager, Quality Assurance – GTF Commercial Engines The Quality Assurance organization has an opportunity for you to join the GTF Program Quality Management team. In this role, you will lead and support dynamic activities on a growing commercial engine program. Activities will engage Customers, internal organizations, and internal and external producers driven to high levels of Quality performance related to product development, certification, production and delivery.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in a technical, business or Quality field or equivalent experience and minimum 12 years prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 10 years’ experience in Engineering/Technical/Quality Positions.

Nice To Haves

  • Potential domestic and international travel required (up to 25%).
  • Strong Project Management skills.
  • Knowledge of processes and procedures associated with direct part producer support.
  • Superior knowledge of the P&W Quality Management System and familiarity with Supplier Quality Management systems.
  • Working knowledge of complex engine components and assemblies.

Responsibilities

  • Participate/Host Customer interactions supporting production, test and delivery of our GTF engine programs.
  • Understands and communicate the ‘voice of the Customer’ (externally and internally) in decisions affecting Quality and performance.
  • Collaborate with Customers and internal teams to identify and drive Quality improvement projects that reduce defects and Quality escapes.
  • Work with functional groups to help define and establish Quality process improvements.
  • Collaborate with mod centers to identify and drive actions to reduce QNLIs.
  • Utilize APQP & PPAP core elements (PFMEA, MSA, Process Flow and Control Plans, etc.) to identify risks and propose mitigation solutions.
