About The Position

We are seeking a welcoming and attentive Guardian to join the guest services team at Petit Ermitage, a private, bohemian-inspired hotel known for its intimate atmosphere and elevated hospitality. The Guardian serves as the first point of contact for guests accessing the rooftop and plays a key role in maintaining a smooth, secure, and well-organized guest experience. This position blends guest service, access control, and front desk support. The ideal candidate is personable, professional, and comfortable interacting with guests while maintaining clear standards and procedures.

Requirements

  • Previous guest service, front desk, or hospitality experience preferred
  • Friendly, confident, and professional demeanor
  • Strong communication and people skills
  • Ability to remain calm and composed in busy environments
  • Team-oriented mindset and willingness to support operations
  • Reliable, punctual, and accountable
  • Flexible scheduling availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays

Responsibilities

  • Greet guests warmly and verify reservations for rooftop access
  • Maintain accurate guest access and prevent unauthorized entry
  • Provide clear and friendly communication regarding rooftop policies
  • Support the Front Desk team during high-volume evening periods
  • Assist with guest questions, directions, and basic requests
  • Monitor guest flow to ensure safety, comfort, and service standards
  • Communicate guest needs, VIPs, or issues to the Front Desk or management
  • Maintain a professional and welcoming presence at all times
