About The Position

The Guest Services Information Assistant greets patients and visitors to the VCU Health System and to assist them with obtaining accurate directions and visitation passes. This job ensures that patients with restricted visitation are appropriately respected and visitor passes are issued ONLY to those visitors that have permission. This job also monitors activities of assigned lobbies to maintain a safe environment and to assist patients who may be left waiting for long periods. Requirements

  • Must possess reading and writing skills and comprehend and communicate in English
  • Ability to rotate all shifts including nights (until 9pm), weekends and holidays as needed

Nice To Haves

  • One (1) year of previous customer service work experience
  • Previous experience keyboarding
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
