About The Position

As a member of our Guest Services team, you will play a key role in enhancing the guest experience by ensuring convenient, efficient, and welcoming access to lawn seating accommodations. This is a seasonal, part-time, event-based position that will begin June 2026 and end September 2026.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • At least two years of experience in guest services, hospitality, customer service, or event operations preferred.
  • Experience with electronic ticketing or ticket scanning systems, as well as credit card machines, is helpful but not required.
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills and a friendly, positive demeanor.
  • Exceptional customer service and hospitality skills.
  • Ability to communicate clearly, professionally, and courteously with guests, coworkers, and supervisors.
  • Ability to remain calm and professional in fast-paced or stressful situations.
  • Ability to exercise sound judgment and follow venue policies and procedures.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, event-driven environment.
  • Ability to maintain professionalism and discretion when interacting with VIP guests and venue personnel.
  • Ability to work both indoors and outdoors depending on event needs.
  • Reliable attendance and punctuality.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Work hours are casual, seasonal, and event-based and are not guaranteed.
  • Position requires constant walking, standing, and occasional sitting in an outdoor environment in all weather conditions, as well as lifting/carrying 25+ pounds.
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time during event shifts.
  • Ability to climb stairs and maneuver throughout the venue when assisting guests.
  • Ability to move quickly and safely between areas of the venue when necessary.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and hear guests or coworkers in a loud event environment.
  • Ability to work in loud, crowded, and fast-paced environments typical of concerts and live events.
  • May be exposed to outdoor weather conditions including rain, heat, and humidity.

Responsibilities

  • Greet guests at the lawn chair rental area in a friendly, high-energy, and professional manner.
  • Assist guests with pre-paid chair reservations, including verification and distribution.
  • Process day-of rentals using POS systems, handling cashless transactions accurately.
  • Provide clear directions to guests on rental options and procedures when needed.
  • Maintain composure and professionalism when handling frustrated or confused guests.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the rental area, including staging and storage zones.
  • Communicate any inventory shortages, guest issues, or operational concerns to supervisors in real time
  • Adapt quickly to changing event needs, including weather impacts or attendance surges.
  • Respond appropriately to incidents or emergencies and notify management as necessary.
  • Assist with directing guests to designated safety areas in the event of an emergency.
  • Adhere to the dress code and present yourself in a professional, friendly, and approachable manner.
  • All other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
