You Are: A talented application PolicyCenter Technical Lead with deep knowledge of Guidewire PolicyCenter application solutions. You’re skilled in all aspects of Guidewire implementation, from design and configuration to customization and support after the solution goes live. You enjoy working with people with all different skill sets, and you have a flair for negotiating and gaining consensus in a fast-paced environment. You have plenty—you’re a master at juggling multiple tasks and meeting deadlines. Lastly, you are committed to continuous learning by staying current with evolving Guidewire capabilities, expanding knowledge across Guidewire products, and exploring innovative ways to leverage emerging technologies to improve delivery efficiency. The Work: Implement the overall technical vision for projects, programs and systems, keeping in mind cross-functional impacts, integration across the organization and architecture rationalization; Function as a subject matter expert and advocate for the software applications supported; Oversee technical deliverables for maintenance projects through the software development lifecycle, including validating the completeness of estimates, quality and accuracy of technical designs, build, performance analysis and implementation; Proactively address technical issues and risks that could impact maintenance release schedules and/or financials; Work closely with stakeholders to design and document automation solutions that align with the business needs and are consistent with the architectural vision; Mentor and train project team members and peers, both internal and vendor partners to enforce development guidelines and best practices lead change by influencing and educating Business, IT and sourcing partners. Manage and coach junior development team members. Able to set the standards and guidelines of the software delivery life cycle. Review and provide input into Architectural designs, requirements and test cases. Make recommendations to Product Owners, Business Analysts and other client Tech Leads on implementation approaches that align to Cloud conformance Travel may be required for this role. The amount of travel will vary from 0 to 100% depending on business need and client requirements.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 7 years in a Guidewire role and ACE certified in PolicyCenter role
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience with Guidewire configuration and integration development using GOSU in Guidewire PolicyCenter V8, V10 and higher
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience using Spring Batch Framework to support integrations with external and internal partners
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent (12 years) work experience (If an associate degree with 6 years of work experience)
