Gymnastics Coach
About The Position
We are currently seeking full time and part-time gymnastics coaches. We can be flexible with your schedule and can work with a combination of shift times/days for the right person! Just let us know about availability when applying. Our Gymnastics Coaches will lead recreational gymnastics classes to children of various ages and skill levels. The ideal candidate will have: A minimum of 1 year of experience coaching gymnastics or a high-level of achievement as a competitive gymnast. Knowledge and ability to grow skills and spot skills tumbling, on the bar, beam, and vault. Programs offer children a Springboard to Life’s Adventures by using movement-based learning and imaginative play to help build the confidence and skills needed at each stage of childhood. For over 40 years, our trained instructors have nurtured happy, confident kids through parent/child classes, gymnastics, dance and sports prep, plus enjoyable extras like camps, Parentsʼ Survival Nights and Awesome Birthday Bash parties. As a part of The Little Gym team, you will be part of a family dedicated to the growth and development of children all over the globe. Requirements
- A minimum of 1 year of experience coaching gymnastics or a high-level of achievement as a competitive gymnast.
- Knowledge and ability to grow skills and spot skills tumbling, on the bar, beam, and vault.
Responsibilities
- Create a fun and positive learning environment, ensuring the safety and well-being of all children in class.
- Provide outstanding customer service and experience. We treat our members like family here and love to smile!
- Communicate effectively with parents about skill progression and class information.
- Assist with set-up and clean up of gym before and after class.
- Participate in staff meetings and training sessions.
