About The Position

Job Summary: The position will be responsible for conducting thorough physical and visual inspections of products and plant systems, accurately documenting and calculating results. This role requires taking corrective actions when necessary, including alerting appropriate personnel to adjust processes, identifying, segregating, and isolating non-conforming products, and reporting results to management. Additional assignments may be requested as needed. All team members are expected to prioritize safety, encompassing both personal safety and food safety. Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Minimum of 1 year experience in the Fresh Meats industry or other QA-related experience required.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential.
  • Proficiency in completing Tyson paperwork.
  • Ability to lead by example and motivate the hourly workforce.
  • Strong problem identification and problem-solving skills.
  • Competency in math and organizational skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret product specifications.
  • Capacity to function well under stress.
  • Flexibility to work in various locations and schedules as needed.
  • The position involves heavy lifting (70 lbs. or more).
