About The Position

Envision’s Strategic Services practice is looking for experienced hands-on IT leaders to join our rapidly growing team. You will be part of a group that collaborates to develop strategy, drive adoption of modern toolsets, and fosters innovation among Envision’s clients. The ultimate goal is to help customers leverage technology to achieve successful outcomes. Our best Team members are curious. They are constantly exploring emerging technology, and are hands-on about testing and implementing the latest that the industry has to offer. Consequently, they are able to conceptualize the “art of the possible” and can articulate how to bring disparate solutions together in meaningful ways. For example, our team members might have expertise in any combination of the following: Automation, Agentic AI, Bespoke AI models, Data Analytics, Hyper-Converged Infrastructure, Satellite Communications, Mobility Architecture, or advanced use-cases for Sharepoint, Teams, or Azure. This process of tinkering, learning, and trying to “see around corners” creates Leaders who can have an extremely positive impact on customers who are looking to become Future Ready. Although this role is 80% strategy and leadership, the 20% that is hands-on-keyboard is where you can really differentiate yourself with a customer and build trust quickly. The ideal candidate for this role includes: · At least 5-7+ years of experience in IT Leadership roles · Hands-on technical expertise in at least some of the areas described in the narrative above · Ability to operate at the highest levels within our customer accounts, including at the board-level · Outstanding communication skills (written, presentation, and conversational) · A curious spirit and well-defined approaches to ahead of the industry curve with emerging technology · A passion for the Microsoft ecosystem of technologies · A desire to help elevate (and be elevated by) those around them · Doesn’t need to be the smartest person in the room… but might well be! · Operates smoothly and collaboratively in a fusion team model · Equally at home in the data center and the board room · They thrive on a challenge, and enjoy developing technology strategy, leading and executing in services engagements, and delivering positive client outcomes.

Requirements

  • At least 5-7+ years of experience in IT Leadership roles

  • Innovation Tools and Strategy such as: Azure AI Studio, Copilot Studio, MS Copilot Assistant, OpenAI, HeyGen, Firefly, Workflow Automation, Robotic Process Automation.
  • Microsoft Technologies including: Entra Identity and Access Manager, Azure, M365 productivity tools, SharePoint, OneDrive, Microsoft Teams, Endpoint Management, Threat protection, Security, MS Power Platform.
  • Datacenter Technologies such as: Dell, Cisco, Extreme Networks, Fortinet, Palo Alto.
  • Hyperconverged / Hybrid Cloud Strategy such as: Azure Local / Edge, OpenStack, Nutanix.
  • Security tools such as: Sentinel One, Nessus, Crowdstrike, MS Security Copilot, Tenable.io.
  • Software Defined Edge & Multi-cloud Networking such as: Aviatrix, Checkpoint, F5.
  • Backup, Business Continuity, and Disaster Recovery.
  • Enterprise content access and security such as: Fastly, CloudFlare, MS Frontdoor

Responsibilities

  • Lead a portfolio of clients and be responsible for providing them with a technology strategy and roadmap that aligns with their business objectives.
  • Work closely with client stakeholders to develop an intimate understanding of their business and partner with them to create.
  • Technology vision and digital transformation plans.
  • Strategic IT investment roadmaps.
  • Technology implementation schedules.
  • Work closely with the Envision Project Delivery Team to ensure projects identified from the technology roadmap are delivered on-time and within budget and client expectations are exceeded.
  • Lead new client on-boarding process.
  • Identify additional client needs and opportunities to expand our engagement scope.
  • Document all opportunities, client discussions, client initiatives.
  • Be the advocate for client success.
  • Work with the business development team to solution new projects
  • Technical ownership and delivery of end-to-end Office 365 and Microsoft 365 initiatives.
  • Technical architect and manager for a wide range of Microsoft productivity products and services including.
  • Provide technical implementation guidance and best practices.
  • Design client migration plans from legacy systems to Microsoft Cloud Solutions.
  • Assist and deploy NEW and/or additional Microsoft products and services.
  • Building relationships with customers and partners.
