About The Position

Mr. Handyman is looking for a motivated Helper / Apprentice Technician who wants to learn the skilled trades while working alongside experienced professionals. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on work, wants to build valuable skills, and is eager to grow in the home service industry.

You will assist our lead technicians with a variety of residential and commercial repair, maintenance, and improvement projects while learning the trade. This position also requires someone comfortable working outdoors and helping with pressure washing and other general tasks.

Requirements

• Positive attitude and willingness to learn
• Reliable and dependable
• Comfortable working outdoors and at heights (ladders/roofs)
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds
• Basic knowledge of tools is helpful but not required
• Valid driver’s license preferred
• Strong work ethic and good communication skills

Responsibilities

• Assist lead technicians with home repair and maintenance projects
• Perform pressure washing for homes, driveways, patios, and decks
• Help with basic carpentry, drywall, painting, and minor repairs
• Carry tools, prepare job sites, and help maintain a clean workspace
• Complete smaller tasks independently once trained
• Follow safety procedures and company standards
• Provide friendly and professional service to customers
