Requirements
- Microsoft office products (Word, Excel, Project, Outlook)
- Dealing with internal and external customers
- Management of local staff in Tucson
- Hands On with hardware, firmware and software for development, Q/A testing and field support
- Travel both domestic and international
Responsibilities
- Electrical engineering – skills in: Electrical circuit design (Analog and Digital) Knowledge about PCB circuit layout Analysis of circuit tolerance and investigation of report field issues Knowledge and skill in using electric test equipment. Support of FCC, EMC, EMI and UL testing
- Mechanical and Manufacturing engineering
- Skill on managing employees of a small team of hardware engineers.
- Mentoring and ongoing training of hardware team members
- Management of the RSD production and service team Approval of RSD purchasing request
- Support of other teams (software, Q/A, project management, production and operations)
- Support for proposal writing and selection of hardware equipment
- Familiarity with firmware, software and hardware interface
- Visual Basic Net
- Excel VBA for automated reports
- C for Microprocessor firmware
- FPGA programming using languages like Verilog or VHDL
- Managing a project to meet timelines and requirements
- Gathering and refining project requirements
- Generate and maintain quarterly project objectives in Azure DevOps
- Generate and maintain software user stores and bugs in Azure DevOps
- RSD Studies and Annual Reports: SQL Queries Excel analysis and graphing of data for presenting in reports General knowledge of statistics
- Investigating Manufacture and Field issues
- Support of Data Team on report requirements and RSD reports
