You will be an integral part of an engineering team to lead hardware integration to ensure the seamless, functional connection of hardware components, subsystems, and software to build robust, high-performance systems. You will provide direct support to the government client and manage the engineering team supporting the program. Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience performing systems engineering or integration in DoD aerospace systems or ground systems, including integrating hardware, electronic circuits, and components into larger systems, and ensuring compatibility
  • 5+ years of experience designing integration strategies, troubleshooting issues across electrical and mechanical domains, conducting validation testing, and creating technical documentation including SRR, SDR and SFR, PDR, CDR, MRR, TRR, FCA, and PCA
  • 5+ years of experience identifying, analyzing, proposing, and managing program risks and issues related ground, software, or hardware systems including root cause analysis on hardware and software interface issues during system bring up, testing, and field deployment
  • Experience developing and executing detailed test plans, including functional testing and performance verification of prototypes and final assemblies
  • Experience collaborating with design teams to refine system architecture, PCBs, and hardware, and providing feedback on serviceability and manufacturing
  • Experience acting as a technical subject matter expert, coordinating between hardware, software, and manufacturing teams to meet deadlines
  • Experience using a Model-Based Systems Engineering or Digital Engineering approach to manage system definitions and technical baselines
  • Ability to be highly motivated, display a dynamic work ethic, contribute to the DoD mission, work independently and collaboratively on a cross-functional team, and demonstrate initiative to complete complex tasks to achieve program goals in a fast-paced environment
  • Secret clearance
  • Bachelor's degree in an Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or Computer Science field

Nice To Haves

  • 3+ years of experience in DevOps working with pipelines and runners
  • Experience working with DoD customers and mission sets
  • Possession of excellent problem-solving skills to resolve complex, multidisciplinary technical challenges
  • Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Master's degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science, or related field preferred; Doctorate degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science, or related field a plus
