The ideal candidate will have experience in soldering and reworking PCBs, supporting program racks, and managing lab equipment. The opportunity: · Program Rack Support: Check connections and power cycle equipment for program racks. · Bench Setup: Set up PCs, test equipment, and ensure ESD compliance. · Procurement Requests: Submit procurement requests for lab supplies and equipment. · Inventory Management: Assist with managing inventory of lab supplies and equipment. · Equipment Calibration: Assist with managing the equipment calibration schedule. · Rack Assembly: Support the assembly and bring-up of racks. · Soldering and Rework: Perform soldering and rework of PCBs for test chip programs. · Shipping/Receiving: Handle shipping and receiving of lab equipment and supplies. · Memory Reprogramming: Perform reprogramming of M.2 memory modules. This position description identifies the responsibilities and tasks typically associated with the performance of the position. Other relevant essential functions may be required.

Requirements

  • Experience in hardware lab environments: 5+ years.
  • Familiarity with setting up and maintaining lab equipment.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
  • Experience in soldering and reworking PCBs.
  • Flexibility: Ability to adapt to various tasks and support the HW Lab Engineers as needed.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience in a hardware lab environment.
  • Knowledge of ESD compliance and safety protocols.
  • Experience with inventory management systems.

Responsibilities

  • Full-time, regular employees accrue a minimum of 10 days of paid vacation per year, receive 6 days of paid sick leave each year (pro-rated for new hires throughout the year), 10 paid holidays, and are eligible for paid bereavement leave and jury duty.   • Compensation range: $ 38,000.00 to 57,000.00 per year
