What does a successful Hardware Support Engineer do at Fiserv? As a successful Hardware Support Engineer, you will play a critical role in designing, developing, testing and maintaining computer systems and other hardware used to issue credit & debit cards and billing statements for banking, insurance, retail and utility companies worldwide. You will work with cross-functional teams to deliver solutions that align with our business goals and client needs.

Requirements

• Basic SQL and database knowledge required to support with issues related to data incidents for Fiserv developed applications
• Strong computer software and hardware skills
• Mechanical background
• Experience in basic electronics
• You must currently possess valid and unrestricted U.S. work authorization to be considered for this role. Individuals with temporary visas including, but not limited to, F-1 (OPT, CPT, STEM), H-1B, H-2, or TN, or any candidate requiring sponsorship, now or in the future, will not be considered for this role.
• This role is not eligible to be performed in Colorado, California, District of Columbia, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York, Nevada, Rhode Island or Washington.

Nice To Haves

• Experience providing support and documentation for DR plans and testing for Fiserv developed applications and hardware
• Experience with scripting and development support for non-traditional application development

• Testing and configuration for Fiserv developed applications
• Creating test scripts for Fiserv developed applications
• Regression testing for Fiserv developed applications
• Assist in troubleshooting for Fiserv developed applications
• Change control for Fiserv developed applications
• Hardware testing for new development systems
• Assist in data research related to production and Fiserv developed applications
• Manage incidents and assist with escalation related to Fiserv developed applications
