Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related discipline (or equivalent experience).
  • 3-5 years of experience in automation testing and hardware debugging.
  • Strong programming expertise in Python for test automation and Verilog RTL.
  • Experience with Intel/Altera FPGA devkits (Agilex 7: I-series and F-series), oscilloscopes, and lab networking (Ethernet (L2) protocols, IP networks, Routing Protocols).
  • Proficiency in Quartus for RTL synthesis, placement, and routing into FPGA designs.
  • Skills in Questa for RTL simulation to debug waveforms.
  • Solid understanding of Passive Optical Networking (PON).
  • Knowledge of Linux development and debugging, specifically in Ubuntu 22.04 and Ubuntu 24.04 environments.
  • Experience with tools such as Jenkins, Git, JIRA, Bitbucket, TestRail, and Pycharm.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with product cycles and deployment journeys for carrier-class products in Service Provider environments.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft productivity suite.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement test coverage, automation, validation, and documentation strategies to ensure product excellence.
  • Develop Python-based automation frameworks to test networking features.
  • Debug software and hardware issues, including FPGA debugging.
  • Collaborate with development and technology leaders to ensure comprehensive cross-component QA strategy and coverage.
  • Review and provide feedback on functional specifications, technical requirements, and test plans to champion customer and quality advocacy.
  • Troubleshoot and identify defects, working closely with cross-functional teams and software design experts.
