Our program offers practical work experience in a business environment, with the opportunity to contribute and add value to the organization.  The Hardware Verification Team within the Integrated Systems Test Group is responsible for verifying the system components meet design specifications prior to customer shipment.  Our products include the HDD, SSD and SLT test platforms.  We are looking for a motivated, energetic, and eager to learn interns to join us in a fast paced, dynamic, and rewarding environment!

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in a 2–4-year technical degree program
  • Strong computer skills that include familiarity with Windows, MS Office/Teams/Outlook
  • Some experience with communication protocols including: SPI, UART, I2C, JTAG, USB, PCIE and Ethernet
  • Some software programming knowledge, preferably in C/C+, C#, Java, Python
  • Ability to work independently and on teams to achieve goals
  • Ability to learn new things and get up to speed quickly
  • Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills

Nice To Haves

  • Some understanding of MAP SLT, HDD and SSD testing methodology is advantageous

Responsibilities

  • Support test development related activities for legacy and new products
  • Data collection and defect investigation
  • Executing test processes on first article assemblies
  • Support engineering activities including parts procurement, research, test stand assembly and coordinating shipments to global subcontract suppliers and repair/support teams
  • Collaboration with a global workforce to support Teradyne test processes
