Harvest Lab/Viticulture Hybrid Intern

As an intern for Joseph Phelps Vineyards, you will grow your knowledge of premium wine making techniques, contribute to making excellent wine and have a lot of fun. We are seeking a hybrid intern with strong laboratory skills to support key winemaking and vineyard research and development projects. This internship would begin June 1st and run through the end of December. Working directly with the Assistant Winemaker, this person will assist with:
Requirements
- At least six months of professional laboratory experience OR two semesters of academic laboratory experience in enology or a related field (chemistry, biology, ecology, etc).
- Strong organizational and data management skills.
- Comfortable working both indoors and outdoors.
- Ability to lift at least 50 pounds.
- Stand for prolonged periods of time.
- Motivated to work in a team or individually.
- Comply with all safety protocols.
- Valid driver’s license.
