Haul Unit Operator
About The Position
Heidelberg Materials is one of the world's largest suppliers of building materials. Heidelberg Materials North America operates over 450 locations across the U.S. and Canada with approximately 9,000 employees. Operate haul trucks safely and efficiently to transport materials within the site. Perform pre-shift inspections and report equipment issues promptly. Follow site safety procedures and contribute to a strong safety culture. Work closely with team members and supervisors to meet production goals. Maintain clean equipment and work areas to support safe operations.
Requirements
- Ability to operate mobile equipment safely and consistently.
- Commitment to following safety standards and maintaining situational awareness.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Capability to work in a fast-paced, active environment.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to changing operational needs.
- Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screen, and background check.
- Some positions require FMCSA regulated ongoing drug and alcohol testing.
