The HCM / EC Payroll Architect will be responsible for the maintenance, troubleshooting, and optimization of the SAP HCM and SuccessFactors Employee Central Payroll module. You will provide Tier 2/Tier 3 technical assistance to HR and Payroll teams, manage system updates, and ensure that all legal and tax updates (Support Packages/CLCs) are correctly applied. This is an onsite role in our McLean, VA office. Key Responsibilities System Maintenance & Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues within SAP / ECP, including payroll schemas, PCRs (Payroll Calculation Rules), wage types, Master data, etc. Integration Management: Monitor and maintain the Point-to-Point (P2P) integration between SAP and Employee Central to ensure data consistency. Compliance & Updates: Coordinate the implementation of SAP Succession Packs and Legal Change Packages (LCPs) to ensure the system remains compliant with regional tax laws. Production Support: Support end-users during critical payroll windows (weekly/bi-weekly/monthly) to resolve "blocked" payroll runs or master data replication errors. Configuration: Perform configuration changes in the SAP and ECP related to payroll processing, benefits integration, and third-party remittances.
