About The Position

· Organize, supervise, coordinate, and evaluate practice sessions with proper attention to player’s physical and mental well-being. · Recruit ample numbers of quality student-athletes and retain them. · Delegate authority and provide guidance to assistant coaches. · Prepare athletes to demonstrate university-level performance during competitive events. · Promote athletics at the University of Wisconsin-Stout. · Research and implement new findings for refining skills and coaching techniques. · Be personally on-site at athletic practices and events. · Adhere to, and remain in compliance with NCAA, WIAC, and UW-Stout rules and regulations. · Be an active and productive fundraiser in accordance with a long-range program plan. · Develop relationships with alumni, boosters, etc. · Provide leadership within sports program in accordance with department, division, and university policy. · Maintain positive community relationships. · Maintain rapport with high school athletic programs. · Schedule non-conference contests · This position is a mandated reporter under the Jeanne Clery Act as a Campus Security Authority (CSA).

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Minimum 3 years of collegiate coaching experience
  • Recruiting experience

  • Demonstrate experience related to recruiting and undergraduate retention
