Head of Corporate Development

Redgate
1d$150,000 - $200,000Hybrid

About The Position

Redgate creates ingeniously simple software to help data professionals get the most value out of any database. Our solutions solve complex database management challenges across the DevOps lifecycle, making life easier for IT leaders, development, and operations teams by increasing efficiency, reducing errors, and protecting business-critical data. The data community trusts Redgate to balance speed to market, team collaboration, and data protection. Following the recently announced strategic growth investment in Redgate [by Bregal Sagemount], we are creating our first Head of Corporate Development role. This is an opportunity to own the M&A lifecycle—from origination to financial modeling, diligence management, transaction execution, and integration planning. The ideal candidate will bring strong analytical rigor and excellent relationship-building skills. This role is ideal for someone who is energised by creating something new, shaping strategy, and turning ideas into tangible commercial outcomes. You will be responsible for identifying, evaluating, and executing acquisition opportunities that strengthen our product portfolio, expand our market presence, and create long term value for our customers, our people, and our investors. You’ll lead a small team, working closely with our Executive Team and across our business to bring clarity, strategic rigour, and execution excellence to every stage of the deal lifecycle. Achieving work-life balance has never been more important and so Redgate has adopted a flexible-hybrid model. For this role, we are open to candidates who are near our offices in Cambridge (UK) Austin (Texas) Pasadena (California) or remotely in the US. This role will involve regular travel to meet with colleagues, partners, and potential acquisition targets, primarily in the US and UK
