About the position

The Head of Marketing will provide strategic direction and execution of global marketing initiatives for GF's Building Flow Solutions portfolio. This strategic leadership role is pivotal in enhancing GF's brand presence, accelerating growth, and ensuring that our building flow solutions remain at the forefront of innovation and sustainability in the global market. You will champion customer-centric strategies that connect technology, people, and resources, supporting GF's ambition to lead the building flow solutions sector. Reporting directly to the Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) of GF BFS, the position demands a blend of strategic vision, operational excellence, and cross-functional collaboration. This role is considered a HYBRID position with periodic onsite work at our North American headquarters in Apple Valley, MN, Helsinki, Finland or Schaffhausen, Switzerland.

Responsibilities

  • Define, develop, and implement comprehensive global marketing strategies for the Building Flow Solutions portfolio.
  • Ensure alignment with GF's vision to provide innovative, sustainable, and future-proof solutions for the built environment based on customer needs.
  • Ensure consistent, authentic, and compelling brand messaging across all channels and touchpoints.
  • Lead the development and execution of integrated, data-driven marketing campaigns for segments, products, systems, and solutions within the building sector.
  • Oversee the creation of high-quality content that educates stakeholders on building flow solutions and showcases innovation.
  • Inspire, mentor, and direct a high-performing marketing team, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Partner with global and regional marketing and sales, category management, digital marketing, and communications teams.
  • Drive sales effectiveness by equipping teams with relevant product, application, and segment knowledge.
  • Oversee the marketing budget for the Building Flow Solutions business.
  • Leverage market research, analytics, and emerging trends to identify growth opportunities.
  • Track and optimize all marketing activities using global digital marketing tools and analytics.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • 7+ years of progressive experience in B2B marketing and communications within the building technology, construction, or related sectors.
  • Demonstrated success in developing and executing global marketing strategies and campaigns with measurable business impact.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Expertise in digital marketing, data analytics, and leveraging emerging technologies.
  • Fluent in English, with additional languages considered an asset.
  • Willingness to travel internationally (up to 20%).
