About the position

We’re looking for a Head of Marketing to shape how the world sees, understands, and demands agentic AI in logistics. This is a foundational leadership role—equal parts brand builder, demand driver, and strategic storyteller. You'll partner closely with the CEO and CCO to define our narrative, build a high-leverage marketing engine, and establish Augment as the defining company in AI for logistics.

Responsibilities

  • Own positioning & messaging. Craft a clear, bold narrative that educates the market on agentic AI and why Augment is a category-defining platform.
  • Drive awareness. Develop earned and owned media strategies that get us in front of operators, decision-makers, and AI-forward logistics leaders.
  • Build demand. Partner with Sales to generate a high-intent pipeline across brokerages, 3PLs, and shippers—from mid-market to enterprise.
  • Execute ABM. Design and execute full-funnel ABM campaigns that educate, nurture, and convert strategic accounts—aligning directly with Sales to move key targets through the pipeline.
  • Define the brand. Shape how Augment looks, sounds, and shows up in the world—from the website to product launches to customer stories.
  • Lead content strategy. Publish thought leadership, customer proof points, and product updates that resonate with ops teams and execs alike.
  • Own marketing performance. Own and report on metrics across the funnel—from awareness through to SQLs and revenue attribution.
  • Scale the function. Hire and manage a lean team (internal + agency), define metrics, and build marketing into a force multiplier.

Requirements

  • Have 7–12+ years in B2B SaaS marketing, ideally with some experience at Agentic AI companies.
  • High bandwidth executor, hyper organized and resourceful.
  • Have led GTM or brand efforts from 0→1 or 1→n at an early- or growth-stage startup.
  • Think in narrative arcs, not just campaigns; you can make complex technology simple and urgent.
  • Experience building and running ABM programs in partnership with Sales to accelerate deals.
  • Thrive in high-context, high-speed environments with product-minded founders and customers.
  • Understand the freight/logistics buyer (or are excited to learn fast).
  • Are as comfortable writing a homepage headline as you are presenting a pipeline review.
  • IC experience building messaging, writing pages, launching campaigns—willingness to roll up your sleeves and execute yourself.
  • Experience leveraging AI tools to boost marketing productivity—across copywriting, outreach automation, campaign ops, and beyond.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience marketing AI, SaaS, or logistics tech products.
  • Prior startup or zero-to-one GTM experience.
  • Experience partnering tightly with sales to close the loop on performance campaigns.
  • Familiarity with freight brokerage, 3PL, or logistics workflows.
