We are currently seeking a Head of Product Management, Digital Solutions for our Lab Products & Services (LPS) business. In this position, you inspire internal and external stakeholders for new digital business opportunities from developing the strategic vision to developing key partnerships and execution of concepts. This role requires strategic portfolio management, decision-making and ruthless prioritization to ensure a strong focus is put on the selected few products which drive Sartorius growth and maintain our competitive edge in the market. A proven track record in product management, leadership skills, and the ability to drive innovation and growth are essential pre-requisites for this role.

  • Develop and implement the product strategy for LPS Digital Solutions in alignment with the company's overall goals and objectives.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration within LPS Digital Solutions and across LPS product management, as well as with cross-functional teams.
  • Champion LPS Digital Solutions with senior leadership and other key stakeholders, regularly updating them on product strategy, trends, challenges, and opportunities.
  • Set and monitor KPIs to measure success and drive growth of LPS Digital Solutions.
  • Hold PMs within LPS Digital Solutions accountable for the success of their product portfolio from cradle to grave.
  • Conduct regular reviews of LPS Digital Solutions to ensure business impact and optimal fit with customer feedback & needs.
  • Leverage intel on customer workflows & applications, market research, competitive landscape, industry trends, and emerging technologies.
  • Drive innovation by leading cross-functional teams to develop agile product concepts and rapidly deliver prototypes and MVPs to market.
  • Champion a 'Sartorius first' mindset in road-mapping exercises.
  • Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences or computer sciences-related disciplines; MBA or PhD is preferred.
  • 15+ years of professional experience in Life Sciences with a proven track record.
  • 5+ years in a people-leadership role.
  • 5+ years in product management.
  • 10+ years managing software products and services, with experience in Agile development environments.
  • 2+ years in a complex customer-facing role.
  • 5+ years in pharmaceutical industry, preferably in discovery & development including hands-on experience with bioanalytical instrumentation.
  • Demonstrated success implementing large-scale, complex, multi-disciplinary software projects across organizations or divisions.
  • Expertise in digital transformation trends: cloud, data analytics, artificial intelligence, and customer data platforms.
  • Proven ability to identify market opportunities, define strategy, build business cases, and execute successfully.
  • Role-model leader and collaborative team player, adept at aligning diverse stakeholders and fostering cross-functional collaboration.
  • Highly innovative, results-driven, with exceptional analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and prioritization skills.
  • Outstanding communication skills-verbal, written, and presentation.
