Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field required
  • 12–15+ years of progressive experience in finance operations, shared services, or GBS environments
  • 5–7+ years leading retained organizations over outsourced/BPO providers, including large-scale transitions
  • Experience in public company or highly regulated environments with strong SOX and audit exposure

  • MBA and/or CPA, CMA, or equivalent strongly preferred

Responsibilities

  • Accountability:Single point of accountability to the CFO for end-to-end performance of all in-scope finance processes (P2P, O2C, R2R, master data), across retained and Genpact delivery.
  • Operating Model Ownership:Define and evolve the shared services strategy, including scope (retained vs. outsourced), location model, migrations, decision rights, and alignment to cost, control, quality, scalability, and audit objectives.
  • Governance & Vendor Leadership:Lead executive governance with Genpact; own SLAs, KPIs, productivity, contract performance, and scope changes. Ensure transparent reporting, structured issue resolution, and disciplined benefit realization.
  • Process, Controls & Risk:Act as end-to-end process owner. Embed SOX and regulatory controls, maintain standardized control frameworks, ensure audit readiness, vendor risk management, and service resiliency.
  • Transformation & Technology:Lead transitions and continuous improvement. Drive automation and analytics aligned to IT/ERP roadmaps, with measurable productivity and quality gains.
  • Stakeholder & Change Leadership:Serve as primary enterprise interface (Controllers, FP&A, Tax, Procurement, IT, business leaders). Build retained governance capability and lead change adoption.
  • Year 1 Outcomes:Stable SLA delivery, clean audits, clear operating model and decision rights, disciplined governance cadence, and a 12–24 month transformation roadmap with tracked benefits and board-ready visibility.
