About The Position

Cardlytics is seeking a Head of Strategic Finance to lead our FP&A function overseeing both our US and UK teams, and serve as a key partner to executive leadership. This role will be pivotal in shaping the company's financial direction, working closely with the executive team to drive strategic decision-making. The Head of Strategic Finance reports to the CFO will lead financial planning and analysis, provide critical insights to the board and investors, and manage a global team of finance professionals.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; MBA or CPA preferred
• 10+ years of progressive experience in finance leadership roles, preferably in tech or fintech industries
• Strong understanding of financial planning, forecasting, and reporting processes
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate complex financial data into actionable insights
• Proven track record of managing and developing high-performing teams
• Experience presenting to C-level executives, board members, and external stakeholders
• Proficiency in financial modeling and advanced Excel skills
• Experienced in a public company environment and familiarity with SEC reporting requirements
• Knowledgeable of the broader software and technology landscapes
• Experienced with International finance, particularly in managing global teams and cross-border financial operations
• Familiarity with or willingness to work within this environment is required.

Responsibilities

• Partner with CEO, CFO, and executive team to drive strategic financial decisions
• Lead financial planning and analysis, including forecasting, external guidance, and budgeting
• Report consolidated results and future projections to Audit Committee and Cardlytics Board on a quarterly and ad hoc basis
• Collaborate with Controller and Investor Relations leaders to influence external discussions with auditors and investors
• Manage and develop a high-performing Strategic Finance team with strong financial rigor and business partnership
• Drive process improvements and implement best practices in financial operations
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and maintain strong internal controls
