Summer Swim Coach - Head Coach & Assistant Coach Positions
About The Position
Encourage and motivate swimmers while providing instruction to improve swimming technique Plan swim practices to keep swimmers engaged and involved Adhere to safety standards and best practices during swim practices and meets Communicate with swim team parents, volunteers, other coaches, and club management Emphasize teamwork and goal setting Complete all required training and continuing education as required by SELA Aquatics Complete all administrative functions of the team, including meet entries and records Other tasks as assigned by the management team Work with the assigned facility to organize an end-of-season banquet for the team with individual and team awards presented
Requirements
- Head Coach applicants must be at least 18 years old
- At least 1 year of previous experience as a swim team coach is required
- Must be available for all swim meets during the season
- Must be able to attend the vast majority of swim practices during the season (cannot request time off for more than 3 days of summer practice)
