About The Position

Ascend Medical is hiring call center Health Concierges to provide quality telephone customer service for appointment booking and registration to patients and their families. You’ll drive the patients’ experience from the first point of contact to setting up portal accounts and ensuring that patients have everything in place for a successful first visit. Primarily working in a remote call center environment, answering inbound calls from digital marketing campaigns, local events and more with the purpose of booking healthcare appointments. In this role, you’ll directly support members via phone and online appointment request form. No prior experience necessary. We fully train our Health Concierges. Work from home/remote position- MUST BE a GEORGIA resident.

  • An Ability to Leverage Resources. Strong technical and computer skills (including mastery of Microsoft Outlook, EHR, and Salesforce).
  • Customer Service/Sales Experience. Experience in a call center or customer services/sales role. You are customer-focused and love helping others.
  • High School graduate or equivalent
  • Work from home/remote position- MUST BE a GEORGIA resident.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in Health Insurance or Healthcare Services. Prior experience in the healthcare field working with insurance is advantageous but not required.
  • Bi-lingual Spanish a plus

Responsibilities

  • Proactively resolve inquiries while building trust with our patients by understanding their needs to ensure that they find the best care .
  • Support a high volume of new patients in scheduling their first appointment via phone. Other channels to come in the future!
  • Verify medical insurance benefits and explain the patients share of cost.
  • Document patients in our EHR, interactions in Salesforce, and communicate with the clinical team as necessary.
  • Educate new members on the benefits of Ascend Medical and clearly guide members on how to utilize the company’s services.
  • Provide high-level service with a focus on compassion for our patients.
