The CDC Foundation is seeking a Health Program Specialist I who will possess a background in health program coordination, including grants management, providing technical information related to specific health conditions, provide support to various workgroups and committees and utilize these skills to help sub-recipients, state, and external partners working to improve health for Nevadans through various federal grants. In this role, the Health Program Specialist I will oversee health programs associated with the Nevada State Opioid Response (SOR) Program, housed within the Bureau of Behavioral Health Wellness and Prevention. This discretionary grant supports statewide efforts in the prevention, treatment, and recovery of opioid and stimulant use disorders. The position collaborates closely with a wide range of stakeholders and community partners to advance program goals and strengthen service delivery across Nevada.
