Requirements
- Associate degree with 5+ years of EHS experience
- Strong knowledge of OSHA General Industry regulations
- Proven leadership and ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills
- Ability to influence teams and resolve conflicts effectively
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Experience in training personnel on OSHA and corporate safety requirements
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, SharePoint, Excel)
- Legal authorization to work in the U.S.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with Process Safety Management (PSM)
- Six Sigma certification or experience
- 30-Hour General Industry Safety & Health certification
Responsibilities
- Implement and enforce site H&S policies to ensure compliance with regulations and corporate standards
- Lead and execute safety improvement projects across the site
- Promote employee engagement and ownership in health and safety initiatives
- Support incident investigations and ensure corrective actions are implemented
- Conduct Gemba walks to provide coaching, recognition, and training
- Maintain systems for internal H&S reporting and performance tracking
- Develop and deliver effective safety training programs
- Coordinate occupational health assessments and annual medical exams
- Manage contractor safety processes including inductions and evaluations
