About The Position

Touchmark is Edmond’s leading full-service retirement community, enriching the lives of residents and their families through five-star hospitality, services, and amenities. We are currently seeking the right person to join our team as a Health Services Staffing Coordinator – Scheduler! This person will be responsible for creating the Health Services schedule, handling any/all schedule issues for our Health Services team including, but not limited to call-ins and finding replacements for shift coverage. This person will attend scheduled in-services and staff meetings, train new Health Services team members, and perform all other duties as assigned. The ideal candidate will: Have a commitment to Touchmark’s values (excellence, teamwork, hospitality, integrity, and compassion), as well as a desire to model these values and to encourage others to be allies, friends and giversPossess a high school diploma or equivalent CNA/CMA preferred At least two years’ experience as a scheduler and/or direct patient care At least one year of clerical experience Possess excellent computer skills, including but not limited to MS Office, MS Excel, and OutlookBe willing to obtain CPR/First Aid certification or provide current certificationHave a genuine interest in caring for elderly residents and working in a geriatric environmentPossess a willingness to continue learning and improving skills, as well as a commitment to confidentialityBe able to maintain patient and tactful composure when dealing with residents, family members, staff members and visitors

Requirements

  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
  • At least two years’ experience as a scheduler and/or direct patient care
  • At least one year of clerical experience
  • Possess excellent computer skills, including but not limited to MS Office, MS Excel, and Outlook
  • Be willing to obtain CPR/First Aid certification or provide current certification
  • Have a genuine interest in caring for elderly residents and working in a geriatric environment
  • Possess a willingness to continue learning and improving skills, as well as a commitment to confidentiality
  • Be able to maintain patient and tactful composure when dealing with residents, family members, staff members and visitors
