Health Unit Coordinator | ICU
About The Position
Find your purpose at CentraCare as a Health Unit Coordinator in the Intensive Care Unit! As a Health Unit Coordinator (HUC), you serve a vital role in being the communication link for the unit. Responsibilities will include greeting and assisting patients/families, guests, and providers as well as managing telephone communications, organizing and maintaining patient charts, and performing clerical and receptionist duties to support patient care. Schedule Full-time | 60-72 hours | 12- hour night shift | 7pm-7:30am | Every third weekend and holiday Pay Starting pay begins at $18.28 per hour; exact wage determined by years of related experience Pay range: $17.00-$25.54 per hour Earn extra pay for working evening/night/weekend shifts Full time benefits : medical, dental, PTO, retirement, employee discounts and more! Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent experience/knowledge required.
- Minimum one year experience with office procedures and equipment with computer experience preferred.
Nice To Haves
- Knowledge of medical terminology preferred.
- Previous experience utilizing an EMR (electronic medical record) preferred.
