About The Position

The Healthcare Administration Intern is responsible for supporting the needs of the Administration and Finance Department including support to business operation areas. This position will be varied in duties and will serve to support the work of Administration while providing an opportunity to learn various functions of all areas in Healthcare Administration.

Requirements

  • High school graduate or equivalent
  • Verbal and written professional communications skills
  • Strong computer skills
  • Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and e-mail
  • Ability to present in front of an audience
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Strong administrative and organizational skills
  • Ability to work both independently and with others
  • Ability to track progress, deadlines, and priority of all projects

Nice To Haves

  • 2 years’ of completed college coursework

Responsibilities

  • Assist with a variety of projects relating to Healthcare Administration and Finance.
  • Participate in department meetings and trainings
  • Assist with projects related to organization strategic plans
  • Perform all other related duties as assigned in a professional and responsive manner
  • Demonstrate the ability to use relevant equipment
  • Support, understand, and promote Alomere Health’s mission, vision, values, policies and procedures
  • Ability to meet the work schedule requirements with flexibility dependent upon the needs of the department
