About The Position

Centurion is proud to be the provider of mental health services to the Georgia Department of Corrections. We are currently seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Healthcare Administrative Assistant and Coordinator to support operations at Georgia Diagnostic and Classification Prison (GDCP) in Jackson, Georgia. This is a fast-paced, high-demand environment requiring a professional who can manage competing priorities, maintain accuracy under pressure, and provide strong administrative support to clinical leadership and facility operations. Requirements

  • Associate or bachelor’s degree in health services management, health care administration, or a related healthcare field
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a medical or healthcare setting
  • At least 2 years of administrative support experience in a fast-paced environment
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook required)
  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize effectively, and maintain accuracy under pressure
  • Professional demeanor with the ability to handle confidential information
  • Ability to obtain security clearance, including drug screening and background check

Responsibilities

  • Managing complex scheduling and coordination for clinical and leadership staff
  • Preparing and maintaining accurate reports, spreadsheets, and documentation
  • Supporting onboarding and administrative tracking for staff and contractors
  • Maintaining organized electronic and paper filing systems
  • Drafting professional correspondence and internal communications
  • Serving as a key point of contact for administrative inquiries within behavioral health services
  • Ensuring timely follow-up on outstanding items and operational needs
