About The Position

We are actively hiring a skilled Heavy Equipment Mechanic for our trusted Customer that specializes in large-scale excavation and site development to keep fleet operating at peak performance both in the shop and in the field. If you are experienced, reliable, and take pride in keeping equipment running with minimal downtime, we want to hear from you.

Requirements

• 3–5+ years of experience working on heavy construction equipment
• Strong knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulics, and electrical systems
• Ability to diagnose and repair issues efficiently
• Must have own tools (specialized equipment provided)
• Valid driver’s license (CDL preferred)

Nice To Haves

• ASE certification
• OSHA training
• welding/fabrication experience

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair heavy equipment including excavators, bulldozers, loaders, cranes, and more
• Diagnose and troubleshoot hydraulic, diesel engine, and electrical systems
• Perform preventative maintenance and safety inspections
• Respond to on-site equipment issues and provide field repairs
• Work closely with operators and supervisors to keep projects on schedule
• Document repairs and maintain service records
• Order and install replacement parts as needed
