Position Summary Responsible for the operation of forklifts and other equipment to move materials.
Requirements
- Must have a valid Driver’s License
- Knowledge of the lifting capacity of each forklift and other equipment that he/she is certified to operate
Responsibilities
- Safely handle materials
- Load and off load materials and equipment
- Adjust machine settings to complete tasks according to specification, accurately and in a timely manner
- Interpret hand signals to determine where materials are to be placed
