Headquartered in Houston, Texas, we provide full-service site development and turnkey railroad construction services for the industrial, petrochemical, commercial, and railroad industries across the Texas and Louisiana Gulf Coast region. We are currently seeking experienced Heavy Equipment Operators to support bulldozer and excavator operations across our project sites.

Requirements

2+ years of experience operating heavy rolling equipment, with demonstrated proficiency on bulldozers and/or excavators
Current valid driver's license with a clean driving record
Ability to travel for extended project assignments
Must be able to pass pre-employment drug test, background check, and physical

Nice To Haves

Experience as a Maintainer Operator is a plus

Responsibilities

Operate heavy equipment (rolling) at WT Byler projects including commercial, industrial, railroad, and retail locations — primary focus on bulldozer and excavator operations
Operate one or more of the following: bulldozer, excavator, track hoe, backhoe, front end loader, motor grader, and/or off-road dump truck
Ensure project safety and health is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and procedures, including client standards and requirements
Assure equipment is never operated in an unsafe manner or inconsistent with Standard Operating Procedures and the intended use of the equipment
Complete and submit daily equipment inspections per project requirements
Coordinate with project superintendent and field crews to support grading, excavation, and site development activities
Travel to extended project assignments as required (travel compensation available for qualifying assignments)
