About The Position

The Equipment Operator is responsible for the safe, efficient, environmentally responsible handling of material and operation of equipment.

Requirements

• HS Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 1–3 years’ experience operating heavy equipment including: front-end loader, bulldozer, and/or excavator
• Ability to safely lift 50 lbs.
• Good communication skills.
• Ability to work varied hours including weekends, holidays, evenings, and/or overnight shifts required.
• Ability to travel to other Company operations when needed.

Responsibilities

• Move bulk material and cargo, and/or load trucks, through the use of heavy equipment including: a compactor, front-end loader, bulldozer, excavator, or trackhoe.
• Operate all equipment safely and efficiently
• Perform general labor tasks to assist with material processing, property maintenance, pile maintenance, or other projects as needed.
• Perform general labor tasks associated with the use, care, cleaning, and maintenance of the equipment.
• Perform daily clean-up of the work site.
• Follow all safety and operational policies, regulations, and programs.
• Successfully complete all required training programs.
• Interact effectively with other employees.
• Perform other duties as assigned and assist other staff as needed.
