Heavy Equipment Operator - Travel Plant
About The Position
Capital Materials is looking to hire a loader operator for a travel plant. This crew will travel between our Linn Creek Quarry, Bagnell Quarry and Laurie MO Quarry. RESPONSIBILITIES Safely operate bulldozers, backhoes, excavators, skid steers, front-end loaders, haul trucks, crushing equipment and/or other large machinery Move, load, and handle materials with the use of heavy equipment Lift, haul, push, roll, load, and move aggregate-related material with the use of heavy equipment Perform general maintenance on equipment including but not limited to welding, cutting, and fabrication This is a full-time, benefits-eligible position. Requirements
- Knowledge of the practices and techniques applied to the safe operation of heavy equipment, to include recordkeeping of operations
- Operate construction equipment
- Perform maintenance on equipment, as needed
- Valid driver’s license
- Lift/move up to 50 lbs.
- Work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Work overtime, nights, weekends, as needed
- Must be willing to travel, as needed
- Reliable transportation
- Must pass a pre-employment physical, drug/alcohol screen, and background check
