About The Position

LGI Homes is seeking a Help Desk Technician at our Corporate Headquarters in The Woodlands, Texas. We are seeking dynamic IT professionals who are passionate about technology and eager to dive in to the LGI Homes systems and culture. The Help Desk Technician will analyze, troubleshoot, and repair computer, network, and peripheral problems for LGI Homes. This role will be a critical resource for all LGI Homes employees, nationwide, resolving tickets in a prompt and courteous manner. This role will use diagnostic techniques to troubleshoot and report issue and repairs through the Helpdesk system. The Help Desk Technician will support security by ensuring all potential threats detected by scans are remedied and documented, configure Active Directory accounts, and maintain and manage inventory of IT equipment.

Requirements

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field is required
  • One year of experience in Desktop Support is highly preferred

Nice To Haves

  • CompTIA A+ certification is preferred
  • Knowledge of ticketing systems
  • Ability to write clear and thorough technical documentation
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office365
  • Configuration and support of Microsoft Windows 10, desktop/laptop, software and hardware
  • ITIL
