Position Summary The Installation Helper works alongside Lead Installers to assist in the installation of windows and doors. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work, wants to learn a skilled trade, and is committed to delivering quality craftsmanship and excellent customer service.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Ability to read a tape measure and use basic hand and power tools
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
- Ability to follow directions and work as part of a team
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Ability to lift, carry, and move materials up to 75 lbs
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and climb for extended periods
- Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Ability to work at heights and on ladders
Nice To Haves
- Previous construction, carpentry, or installation experience is a plus, but not required
- Valid driver’s license preferred
Responsibilities
- Assist Lead Installers with the removal and installation of windows and doors
- Load, unload, and transport materials and tools to and from job sites
- Prepare work areas by protecting floors, furniture, and surrounding surfaces
- Measure, cut, and assemble materials as directed
- Hold, secure, and position products during installation
- Assist with sealing, insulating, and finishing installations to ensure proper fit and weather resistance
- Maintain a clean and safe job site during and after installation
- Follow all safety procedures and company guidelines
- Communicate professionally with team members, supervisors, and customers
- Perform general labor tasks as needed to support the installation team
