About The Position
To provide on campus, classroom instruction for middle and/or high school students in a diverse, private school in Jacksonville, Florida.
Requirements
- Previously Taught in a Florida Public or Private School for 3 or more years or
- Bachelor's Degree (4 years from an accredited university)
Responsibilities
- providing appropriate learning experiences for students across a range of cultural backgrounds
- ensuring proper classroom etiquette and behavior
- prepare and follow class appropriate Lesson Plans
- Communicating effectively with students and parents concerning students progress
- working both independently and with the department team to ensure student success
- strong interpersonal and classroom management skills
Benefits
- Base Salary is negotiable between $40,000 - $41,000, a year (prorated based on start date)
- Participation in 403(b) Retirement Plan is available immediately, upon hire
