About The Position

As a High School Intern at Axon, you’ll gain exposure to multiple areas of the business through meaningful, hands-on projects and valuable networking opportunities. During this 8-week program, you’ll collaborate with industry professionals, contribute to real-world initiatives, and develop technical and professional skills that will help shape your future in STEM. Axon offers several specialized internship tracks, allowing students to pursue opportunities aligned with their interests — whether in engineering and prototyping, quality systems and compliance, or global security and operations. Each track provides focused, hands-on experience while contributing to active business priorities. What’ You’ll do Throughout the program, interns will: Work with different teams across the company to support innovative projects and real-world problem solving. Support real projects that teams are actively working on, including product development, research initiatives, process improvements, or operational programs depending on track placement. Gain hands-on experience with Axon technologies, tools, and systems. Develop technical skills in areas such as engineering, data analysis, compliance, research, or security operations. Participate in mentorship and professional development sessions designed to build communication, collaboration, and workplace readiness skills. Network with professionals across engineering, product, operations, and business teams to explore potential education and career pathways. Work alongside a dedicated site lead as well as a cohort of fellow high school interns in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

  • You are currently a junior or senior attending a high school in the greater Phoenix/Scottsdale, AZ or Seattle, WA areas (Graduating Seniors eligible).
  • Demonstrated problem-solving ability and analytical thinking
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines
  • Comfort working both independently and in team-based environments
  • No prior professional work experience is required — we value curiosity, initiative, and a willingness to learn.
