About The Position

AB Explore High School Summer Internship Program About the Program: Keeping with AB’s commitment to fostering community and opportunity, we are seeking talented and highly motivated high school seniors who have demonstrated academic achievement, intellectual curiosity and a keen interest in financial services to participate in the AB Explore summer internship program. A rare opportunity to learn about careers in asset management, this program offers competitive compensation and exposes interns to an invaluable experience in the financial services industry. Our Program Includes: 7-week project-based internship A robust 1-week training program with industry professionals Summer Learning Series Social & Networking Events Mentorship Who You’ll Work With: As an Intern, you will have the opportunity to explore a variety of dynamic teams, including but not limited to: Internal Audit: This team collaborates with different departments within the company to examine their policies, processes, and procedures. They aim to identify any potential weaknesses or areas for improvement. This helps ensure the company operates efficiently and securely. Technology: Technology teams provide essential support for investment platforms by managing computing, communications, infrastructure, and services. They also introduce innovations to improve these platforms ensuring the company’s technology remains effective and cutting-edge. Operations: Operations teams are crucial for investment management at AB, offering extensive support which includes risk management, compliance, performance measurement, and trade support. They ensure regulatory adherence, efficient transaction processing, record keeping, reconciliation, and client services, all of which contribute to the overall efficiency and integrity of AB's investment services. Client Group: This team is responsible for distributing AB’s products to customers and institutions globally. It consists of four main areas: Sales & Client Services, which helps clients grow and protect their money; Business Development, which provides clients and partners with information and education; Product Strategy & Development, which creates and manages investment services; and Marketing, which promotes our company through various platforms and events. Together, they ensure our clients receive the best investment solutions and support. Requirements

Graduating high school seniors
Students who demonstrate academic excellence and maintain good standing with their school
Individuals with strong communication and demonstrated leadership skills
Team players who can also work independently
Candidates who can multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment
Those with a genuine interest in finance or asset management
Residents of the metro Nashville area
U.S. Citizens or Permanent Residents
Availability to work full-time from June to July (candidates may not take academic classes or hold other employment that conflicts with the internship schedule)
Selected candidates must successfully complete a thorough background check
