Join our new Industrial Manufacturing Technician Registered Apprenticeship for High School students only and gain the knowledge, skills, and abilities you need to have a successful manufacturing career! Interstates is currently seeking motivated young men and women to join our program as Production Tech Apprentices. This role will provide direct support to our Fort Collins manufacturing operations. Requirements

  • High school Junior or higher education level
  • 16 years of age
  • Ability to commit 20 hours/week (during school), 40+ hours/week during Summer

Responsibilities

  • Displays a positive and enthusiastic attitude
  • Takes the initiative to learn systems and processes
  • Takes a proactive approach to problem solving
  • Assembling pre-fabricated electrical construction material
  • Assembling and pre-wiring light fixtures, receptacles, and switches
  • Bending and threading conduit
  • Fabricates support structures by cutting, bending, and welding components
  • Other duties may be assigned
